Default where have the vinyl customers gone?

    Hi All!
I'm very much baffled by the way vinyl customers have tailed off. I do still list a few records on greedbay, but only to keep web-traffic coming to my site via links.. Most of my customers are from everywhere in the world except the UK. I can only guess this is because of the exchange rates at the moment.
Anyway im going to list some vinyl on ebid and see how it goes. Does e-bid seem to attract buyers from certain parts of the world? I would like to hear your opinions.
    Best regards to all.
    Simon.

I've sold a few records here and over ont he other side. Things do seem to have slowed down a little. I'm still buying, if you are selling the right stuff!

Put a signature link into your posts, then us vinyl sniffers can take a gander at your wares.

I actually meant a link to your Ebid store or stores - For an example, click on mine above. The main image link is a bulk list of everything I currently have listed, then the individual store names will take you just to the items which will be of interest - ie OUT ON THE FLOOR for records etc. - My links don't draw anybody away from Ebid, as I think that may be against Ebids policies - (May need confirmation of that.)

With regards to my own wants - It's just 45's - (I'm not really into LPs.) - And only those from the 1960s Soul side really.

List away, and I will look.

Everything counts. Huddy's bought a few of my records too - (He picked up a couple of pretty obscure ones from me too!)

I've just picked up a complete monster!!! - See this smile? - That's me that is! - I now have 2 copies of Vick & John - Don't Dish Out on the Allert label. So one of them will probably be going back up for sale in due course. I know it cost me just under $30, but I'm given to understand this is quite often a $75+ disc, so of course my grin is nine miles wide.

NOW - Here is something for fellow record dealers to consider:

I would never have looked up - Vick & John, because until I saw this listing, I had never heard of them, same with the ALLERT label. I just looked up Northern Soul. After finding it, having it arouse my interest, I did a bit of research, found a sound clip, and decided I had to have it. - I then did a search on the name on Ebid, and the other side - (both .co.uk and .com) - I did find 1 more copy, and with the fear of being outbid on one, decided to bid on that as well..... But that's all a convoluted story to make this point.

When listing records - It is worth putting in the title, the genre it belongs in - Even avid collectors don't know all the tracks that are out there, even in their own specialised field.. It worked for the seller I bought from, got her her first sell with a more expensive item, plus an additional 3 picked up records at regular / low price.

I see many of the big record sellers here, with 1,000s of 45's listed, but they are all bunched into one section - 45's. Listed by name only. Maybe I will browse through a page before I lose interest.

That's what it's all about finding that little golden nugget, feels even better when you come across it unexpectedly.
