i love northern soul. and as your from hudds lion you must have gone to the atack or starlight,they played some great music,unless your younger than me lol, bobby hebb love love love b side of sunny my all time fav, and human zoo commardores,motown&northern soul the best music on the planet, but saying that i grew up in that era so a lot of good memories :-)xx

well i see you caught the huddersfield charm lol, no sadly the dance halls not about any more, the atack was pulled down years ago, the starlight was where mc donalds is now at the corner,everytime i take my g/kids there always think of how it used to be.huddersfield as changed such a lot now,more a student town now with the uni, but we a nice friendly town, :-) x

Well - In hopes of being able to afford some decent vinyl I've listed a few more Northern / Modern soul sounds in OUT ON THE FLOOR.
I saw a copy of Connie by the Servicemen for sale - That also wieghs in at the $600 + mark - Perhaps I'll have to look out for a re-issue
