well my son knows I do wholesale, and still took himself off to Argos, G4, Games Workshop etc and bought his Christmas pressies.
I told him he could have easy saved by getting it from me, or indeed from fellow eBidders, but his response was "hey well its done now".
Christmas Eve he asked for a money sorter because he wanted it for Christmas Day, worked out he could get the pink version which I didnt have but could get in, (obviously not for Christmas Day), and decided to go off to Argos 6 miles away and pay £8 extra for the privilege.

As the saying goes, "There's Nowt so queer as folk ! " even relatives. My son always did this when I had my shop, if he wanted something I didn' t have in stock he would not wait one extra day for me to get it him at wholesale cost.

Do you get much in the way of repeat customers? If so, you can put a leaflet in your packages suggesting they come here next time for a better price.

You can't budge some people even if you tell them you can buy it for X.xx less on eBid than on feePay. I've used stuffers to encourage people to come on over and I STILL get the same people paying a higher price over there rather than comming here and paying less, and paying thru PoorPal for the same item.
