    Default Question rivertonstudiosebi [-8] ?

I just got a quick question. Why does this guy haverivertonstudiosebi [-8] -------------- thru his name? This guys has like couple of thousand listings. If the guy is band how come all his listing keep showing? Kind of annoying I was searching planet earth DVDs there’s about 32 listings and 28 of them are rivertonstudio still showing. Just curios, searching is quit annoying when you have to sort thru this. Thanks Ice199

Yes. Oddly enough, just tonight I was searching for a DVD too and he was the only seller offering it. But I saw the line through his name and decided to NOT buy it and send immediate payment.

I have hopes of finding it from a reputable seller. If i were REALLY REALLY in a rip to get it and thought I had to buy it from this guy, I would have first sent him a couple questions to see if he even answered, regardless of what he answered, and asked him how he acquired his feedback.

Consider his banning as practically our only protection from fraud/theft/lies! If he's unfairly accused, I hope he will prove his innocence.

Just read his feedback to see why.

It does seem wrong that a user with their account on hold can still accept bids/buys on their listings and therefore receive payment but are not able to process any orders (not that this bod was doing that when they could).

They may get bids on the items, but they wouldn't get notification of the bid or access to the bidders details.

I think they should be removed or atleast hidden untill the member is definately expelled then removed.

True. The listings are still live though and Buy Now is available and bidding allowed. I would assume that if someone did a Buy Now or won the auction then they would be invited by eBid to pay - via PayP@l or whatever. Money gets sent and vanishes.

An account is either suspended or not. If it is then it should be total.

We know from the experience of a recently "struck through" seller that the seller does indeed get the sale info and can then go ahead with the sale outside ebid. All that seems to stop is access to one's ebid account, everything else just ticks along... which seems pretty odd! Good news for buyers who've got involved in a purchase with an honest seller who's just had a card expire or something, but bad news if the seller's a real scammer.

I don’t understand why ebid doesn’t clean all these garbage. If he or she is no longer a seller for whatever reason all listings should be closed. Especially when it’s using valuable bandwidth. But besides all of that, those potential customers should not have to look at all this rubbish. Ice199
