    Paypal just charged me 39 cents for a 3 dollar transaction!

    Yep 39 cent's on 3 bucks !! good thing it was not $ 30.00
    on the other side between listing fees final value fees about 10% more than here and then paypal fees . sure hope you did not list free shipping ?? I have listed a roll of quarters on feebay only sold for face value by the time I got done I made $ 7.65 for a
    $ 10.00 Roll.then got a complaint it was not a Bank Wrapped Roll and my DSRs went Down Down Down >> Life is a Beach !! go there .. relax..

    Yep that's right - you paid 2.9% + .30cents

    That's why it's important to know what the charges are when you sign-up for a payment handler, and allow for them in your prices.

    Absolutely!

    There are a lot of sellers - especially on eb*y, that never check their fees.... they should do. especially if you sell something BIN the final fees are even worse and then,.... PP tops it off!

    Morning all , I am looking at this from both sides...we all know that paypal are charging a lot , but if your buyer wants it...we have no choice , we must use it.....on the other place....it is good for the buyers.....they can get their money back if there is a problem...I am thing about trying Google but still not sure.....Papa.

    It was free shipping but it will cost maybe 75 cents to ship. It was mainly to get my feedback up here.

    I had one transaction on google checkout so far and seriously it was 47 cents for 13.65 wow there is a big difference there!

    I wont use Paypal under any circumstances, know too many sellers who have lost their money when their accounts have been cleared out. I have an PPPay account for eBid but didn't even know Google did a check out scheme. Will take a look at that.

    Google is quick & easy, as is Nochex.
