I think cold callers are fair game.Word has got round and they always miss me out now.Shame as its was good sport.Sometimes i would answer the door as a mad professor and shout back in doors for igor to prepare the body or be deaf and shout at the top of my voice at them or give then 10 seconds to get away before i set off the bomb in my pocket etc etc.

We have a similar notice... and obviously it's not being read... However...being elderly & Small and blonde I am fair game to cold callers... Here are my stock responses......

To gas, Electricity and Double Glazing roofers etc....
" Can you repeat all that... My hearing aid is broken.......( Waits for repeat)....Ohhhhh I can't do anything like that..... My landlord would be very cross with me "

    Mormons.......
" Ohhhhhh You look like lovely lads... Come in and have a beer with me.....I am on my own you know and I don't get good looking men like you round often ".......This to be said with a leer and a suggestive wink.......

    Any other religious group....
" I am a really happy, well adjusted pagan. Would you like to come in and I'll tell you all about MY rituals".

leaflets from the Local Take aways... I have been known to return them to the shops when passing.if I can't catch up with the person that has just stuffed the wretchedpaper through my letter box..and explaining I am an OAP and can't afford to buy meals that are sooooooooo expensive "...They don't bother me again
