Hello , I had the great pleasure of meeting them in Jersey. It's my Family home, we were living in St Helier and they actually visited the local ' Milk Bar' as it was called in the 60s

Duffys they played here in Bath in 1963 http://www.aquaterraleisure.co.uk/Ba...n/history.shtm
I was a bit young to be a real beatles fan in the 1960s but I remember liking their music when I was just a toddler as I had a brother that was ten years older than me and he had quite a few of their LPs.

I went to see them live twice. Once we had to queque all night to get tickets (me and about 200 others). Got my photo in the local paper as I wore my dressing gown (over my clothes) to keep warm but the photographer didn't ask - just presumed I was only in my night clothes, snapped away and printed! Thankfully my parents didn't see the photo - I was rather young for staying out all night no matter how important the Beatles were ..... and yes I was a real Elvis fan too, but never got to see him live.

Sorry. I quite remember the Beatles in '64. I found their music white bread and pablum.
Even when they changed over the years it was dull, translucent and begging.
Though they made a fortune all it proved was a generation with a lack of taste.
Give me Chuck Jackson any day.
