Nice try Harold. I've already said on here several times that I adore snakes. I've never turned down an opportunity to see or handle a snake yet. And I'd be fascinated to meet a tarantula - what a shame she didn't use her menagerie as a promise instead of a threat.

Of course, there's no limit to the number of tries a person can have...

    Ok no hard luck stories
no matter how hard thing may have got for me in the past it has alway been a comfort in difficult times to remember those who have it ten times harder than me.
I am a great believer in karma ( what goes around comes around )
so in response to ruthies and harolds humungus generousity i will offer to return the wonderfull favour by making 2 quilt squares for the Christmas ydc2009 charity quilt for ruthie and harold with a design of thier choosing

we won't think of it as a bribe, I want my square to show the unity of the people here on eBid, no matter what country we or they live in. Think about what we would look like all togather in an area big enough to hold all of us. So many different countries, life styles, foods, clothing, beliefs, religions, politics, and on and on. eBid is a good place for all of us to land, but not what keeps us here, and to think i don't believe in Karma.

Does she complain you lose track, as well? You've got a week!

If I happen to overshoot the moon....then where ever I land would be considered a blessing. Though the chances of landing are just as improbable.
Just be careful of your toe when landing.

I'm not going to give you a sob story to read - we're already waterlogged, and we don't need another lake or river.

I feel that I deserve to win Ruthies Avvatar and Banner makeover because I need to be pampered and made a fuss of. I am always so busy running around doing things for other people, (hubby included cos he has back problems), looking after the dogs, doing housework etc etc etc, that I just simply don't have time for myself - a Ruthie makeover will be just the thing to remind me how special I am.
