The ebid member came up with this idea below which myself I think is a jolly good idea.


Now this might sound crazy but it will get you more sales: On your “All about me” page, place a section at the bottom of your page called “Favorite Links” or “Cool Sites” or what ever you want to label it. Then put links to ebid “All about me” pages that are your competition. Ask that person to link back to your “All about me” page. -- That’s the part that sounds crazy, but to link back and forth with your competition is what will get you more sales… and sellers are going to find your competition anyway. Why not send sellers back and forth to each store? Make sense? So, I link to Bob then Bob links back to me. (link back and forth between “All about me” pages).

I for one am willing to do this for any music sellers on ebid who will link back to me on there about me page.
So any takers???????????? leave a message here if your interested cant do any harm not going to take bussiness off of each other they can find us all easily enough if they want

How do you link back etc? Not very techy, usually find out through trying and crashing the computer

If you look at my about me page I have started my little link section, now you dont have to go the whole hog and get the banner link like mine
Just put in the text that I have or something like it
then put the links in, if you need any help just pm me no problemo.

Cant do any harm ,people look at my page they might click on you or you,and vice versa so can only do good, its like the shop links I have on my webpage with out the shop banners just the text link.

Hi Tony,

thanks for the reply and for adding me to your about me page. Let's hope this idea catches on. I will be contacting a few more vinyl sellers later today to see if they want to join in.

Any exposure is better than none.
