Default new category, and new sub categories.

I am new to ebid and have opened up a store, Crystal Canyon Cutlery,
but I had to list it under collectibles, other. this does not seem to fit right.
is it possible to get a category for cutlery, and maybe a sub category under
    sporting goods for hunting knives.

    thank you, ninerx15

Welcome aboard. Two things you need to know - one is that category requests have their own forum. You need to have a read, in particular see the top of the forum where you'll find some guidelines about how requests should be formatted. Look here: http://helpdesk.ebid.net/forumdisplay.php?f=48

The second thing is bad news, I'm afraid: http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread....488#post970488

I think wire saws shoud be fine after all the dark side are very quick to ban anything remotely dangerous, the wire saws are not like a saw in terms of carpentry just a piece of wire with wrist loops used in survival to saw through small bits of wood etc but I will have a wonder through band items and email support if it is not clear, as for the knives on the op I was sort of thinking cultery not hunting knives....I agree they should not be sold, not advocating the selling of anything that could be used as a weapon... not sure how cultery sets fits into that though....spoons forks ok but table knives when people can get them from their kitchen draw I am sure they would not spend loads of money buying a set just for the knives which are normally (non sharp blunt end types) but who knows better safe than not....

If I'm not mistaken, a wire saw is a fairly common plumbing tool also. It's uses for cutting PVC pipe.
