Our club intends to run a Barbie and is split over ticket price, one of the members is a publican and can obtain an outside licence, some feel we should charge option (1) £7.50 adult and included in the ticket price 1 burger+1 hot dog, help yourself salard, a slice of gateau and a can of beer or glass of wine, soft drinks free and thereafter a 500ml can of beer or a glass of wine charged at a £1.00 and soft drinks free, children up to 12 years old £2.50 but the wine or beer was replaced with a soft drink.
Option (2) adults £6.00 to include 1 burger or 1 hot dog help yourself salard, slice of gateau and a can of beer, glass of wine or a soft drink children £3.00 the same food optiond but soft drink only. Additional burger/hot dog and salard or slice of gateau sold at £1.50 with a 500ml can of beer or a glass of wine £1.00 and soft drinks free
this was done by a similar club last year and was supported by mostly members and very few outsiders although well advertised and did not clash with any other event.The profit raised split between the club and a local charity. We intend to do the same hoping profit and pleasure may be the result.
