My descriptions are in English so thats not a problem. I'm just worried that British buyers will be put off by having to deal with Spanish instructions when buying...knowing how the Brits find foreign languages 'challenging'. Its ok if you're familiar with the site but if you're just passing through, so to speak, you might look elsewhere.

I plan to sell Spanish language books in the future and descriptions for those will be in Spanish.

    Angry Multi Language

I´ve just come back to this site after a few months and am really annoyed that I can´t view even read my profile in English.

I am the same as the original poster - am english but live in France & sell to the english speaking market (worldwide). Having my account in French is not ideal for me - yes, I speak French but it would be far easier to have my account in english. Plus, what happens if someone buys one of my items - do they then have to go through the French checkout? What if they dont speak French.

I would like to bring a good proportion of my operation over here to ebid but this option is making the decision hard to make - is there any point in me spending the time that is needed if the site wont work for me.

    (my 2pence worth!!)
    Cheers.

Default Amazing that eBid has not responded to this thread

I have not posted on eBid for nearly a year due to this fact. I live in Denmark, but sell to an English speaking audience mostly and do not want to post in Danish and forcing 90% of my market to look elsewhere.

What an annoying kink in the eBid works! Hey eBid fix this and you might get some more buyers and sellers coming on board!

If you have a suggestion for how ebid can be improved, I'd suggest posting it to the "website suggestions" forum. Not everything gets picked up, but there is evidence that it is read regularly and the ideas they think have merit are used. Small ideas are implemented quickly, big ones like this can be added to their next upgrade list.

    Hej FYIDenmark,

If I use uk.ebid.net your listings are 100% English including the ebid page surrounds.
If I use dk.ebid.net your listings are English but the (ebid) page surrounds are Danish.

Try logging into your account via both sites, the problem people have is going to "my ebid" which will automatically use language of the users registered location

e.g. SEARCH my listing "justerbar dødvinkelspeil" using dk & uk sites.
