I'm on Twitter under this name and I put a link to my store on there quite regularly but as i have 1 random follower i'm not sure how much good i'm doing!

inbetween general chatter with members that I know on twitter, I do occasionally add a link to new listings when I've done them, or drop a link to the YDC auctions etc. I drop a link to my lenses when I've updated them - that sort of thing so in a way it reads like normal conversation. An example would be - I've just added more listings to my store ........................ (store link goes where the dots are).

The thing you have to be careful of is spamming - I don't think it would be appreciated if you added a link every 5 minutes to your listings or specific items in your stores.

Sure monique, when you log into twitter go to the part where it says what are you doing, in the box type your buddylink and post it in there, my username for twitter is craigals, so you can follow me aswell

Well I had loads of followers as you put it but they all looked quite unsavoury so I blocked them all

I am as on here Crocodilepond.
I think I need to spend some time checking it out, but time is not in abundance as I work, so will have to nip in see whats going on LOL

Oh Craig I am a bit slow getting going on these things until I have done it a few times but I will have a go.
The buddylink is that in my history thingy sorry I have never used it

All it does is when someone clicks on your buddylink and signs up you get credited with buddy points that helps you to buy items from eBid without having to use cash

I use Twitter every day, and certainly do "name drop" ebid and post the occasional link, but you have to be careful not to over-do it in my view, or you just get thought of as a spammer and lose your followers. You have to be saying something other than "buy my stuff" to give people a reason to follow you. I joined to promote ebid, but stayed because I like it.
