eBay Seller - Welcome eBid

Its a good news that some like eBid, came to confront eBay. They are running their monopoly.

I am Power Seller on eBay, but it much hurt when you give away 10-15% of your earning to eBay and PayPal.

Hope eBid with their current policies will flourish and become another Giant in the World for small home base sellers.

I sell almost everything from Musical Instruments, Collectors Items, Sports Goods, Uniform Accessories, Handicrafts, Hand Embroidered Items, Exercise Belts and more.

Hi, very interesting items you carry, everything from bagpipes to badges!

First thing I saw was that your listings are marked "run until sold". That pushes them down on the category list (they never reach top because they never expire) and I am guessing that they do not come up on a google search either. Fix that ASAP. You want google advertising for you.

Prices seem ok, but you might discount items below feebay prices to pass your reduced ebid fees to the customer. Examine your shipping prices, seemed high for the badges, can you ship airmail/first class in padded envelope w/ insurance/confirmation cheaper?

Interesting items but NO interesting bio page. Nothing. This is a red flag for buyers. Make filling this out a priority too. Explain why you joined a year ago but did not sell before. Tell us your interests etc, even add a photo (this will appear on forums too).

Use "your notices" to also advertise a message, a sale, etc.

Also, get active on the forums. Not only will you find tips for selling, but you will become familiar to members and more people will check out your items.

Descriptions are a little plain and info is at end. Might want to use a more advanced creator to center, bold etc. Add details needed such as measurements, what item is made of etc. Bold everything.

You can import your feebay feedback now.

Contact your feebay customers, let them know you have moved some items to ebid and offer them a discount (fees are cheaper here, pass savings along). Give them incentive to come have a look.

Add some lower priced items. Many members notice those go first, then people come back and buy an expensive one (check you out first). Give them something to buy under $20.

Offer some shipping discounts, sales, or some incentive for people to buy from you.
