    Default Hmm HOW MANY CUSTOMERS LOST DUE TO THE CHANGE?

    Just got this email from one of my Best customers. If he had not persisted then he would not be back I quote "

    Hi XXXX


    Have you experiencd problems with accessing the ebid platform? Trouble is I have not been able to accss the ebid patform or nearly a week now. I haven't received a notice from ebid stating the site would be down. Have you had any problems?

    Do you know the email address of ebid customer services? If you have acess perhaps you could look it up on the ebid platform & let me know.

    I really would appreciate your assistance as I have run out of ideas. I cannot access the platform directly or either from a link. I have cleared nmy browsing & cookies history and tried another computer.

    Your assistance really would be appreciated. I tried google but all roots lead to the ebid platfrom.

    Don't think we will ever know for sure.

    But this is not the first site to have problems getting into from time to time.

    And hopefully things will soon sort themselves out

    And we can all get back to normal.

    All the changes seem to be going along fine here in the States. I have not had the problems i have read about here

    You sure he/she couldnt get in?

    The email mentions practically everything that was brought up in various threads.

    I can believe it, if it wasn't for the fact I manually added ebid to my hosts file I wouldn't be able to see ebid at all. All I got was website not responding etc. A few times I got the message about server upgrade, then the standard not able to connect. I'm still not able to see any photos.

    Had to add mine to my host file, and you know what, there is no way at all i would or even could of done it without the help of goths step by step guide, not in a millions years, i was out for a couple of days, then had the internet down so this week not been a good week at all internet wise,

    well we had to switch to the new servers so being the holiday season this was a good a time as any to switch,[imagine the uproar if ebid had done this a week before christmas] apart from a few bugs it would seem most problems after the switch were down to users ISPs not updating as fast as some would of liked. i was not able to get in for just under 24hrs but was able to keep up to speed via tweeter ect.
