I just had a look and it looks good. I spotted that you are from Belleville! I really must try to visit the place as not only have I got a good friend living there, it is twinned with my hometown (though I have been told that neither place is particularly exciting)

I can't really say that Belleville is an exciting place. It's pretty good sized though. I still have quite a few family and friends there.

The auction, I'm afraid isn't doing quite as well as I'd hoped but it still has a little time left. At least it'll have made something for the victims. It would have been nice to have a real bidding war though.

Afraid I haven't heard from Chris regarding them. I must admit I don't even know their name. I shipped the item from the auction to Chris as he was the winner and refunded his PayPal payment asking him to see that the victims received the funds. He hasn't posted feedback or acknowledged receipt yet. Hopefully he either has already received the item by now or will shortly.

I am sort of interested in how they're getting on myself. Maybe someone over in that area of the UK knows.

I haven't heard a thing, Jane. Chris, CrackersUK, doesn't seem to have been around much lately and it was he that had most of the information. I'm afraid I don't even know where Edgware is precisely. Perhaps someone that lives near there knows something about them.

The print I auctioned should have arrived by now unless it got tied up in Customs. Chris won the thing so I asked him to give the amount of his bid to the victims. As far as I know, the victims' names were never mentioned.

I havent read through the whole thread, so I do not know if any of this has been mentioned already.

The girl is in temporary housing at the moment, the council think the property can be salvaged but will need to do a lot of work on it with the aim of letting her return there once it is done.

Chris has received many parcels and is very grateful for all your help, I believe he does intend to get back to you all to thank you.

I spoke to sharon shortly after the event and she said that anything that wasnt suitable for her own children would be given to charity so someone else could make use of the items.

I have to say that I have been really surprised by the warm hearted generous response by all those at ebid.

You should all be very proud of yourselves and each other. It is amazing how much kindness people still have even though we are all under pressure in todays financial climate.

I will thank you on their behalf for now, but am sure Chris will do so on behalf of sharon very soon.
