Is there an identifying phrase when listing for the auction heading (as there is for YDC) so all the auctions can be searched for? If we just search "pink" there will be thousands of items showing that are not in the special charity auctions?

If we do a tally thread like the YDC everyone can see how much is collected each week. Then when it is finished the whole amount from the five weeks can be sent off together unless anyone has any more ideas

No hard and fast rules hun.
I think a low start price will generate more interest but if you want to use a BIN or start at a higher price go for it.

Anyone can set up a Justgiving Page specifically for that month for Pink Friday.....choosing BCC for their chosen charity...if that makes any sense to anyone else.
They can add that the money is being raised for the Pink Friday thing...like Frank added the stuff about the Hack on his page for the NSPCC
Thank you Sunny
Now we just need a volunteer to set it up as I am a technophobe.
I'll stand well back because of the stampede lol

I have just had a thought though
that will mean that sellers will lose out on the postage.
I know it may not be much but it soon mounts up if you have a few things to send
Anyone got any comments???

Not necessarily....in agreement between buyers and sellers...they can arrange for the buyer to send 2 payments...one to the Just Giving page and one to the seller (to cover the postage)
I have offered to pay the postage direst to sellers for the YDC we just had, for that reason.
Just found BCC on Just Giving
The charities have to register with the site so it looks like BCC want people to raise money that way
