With tea, for me it has to go in last, I hate peewashytea, so to determine the strength I add the required quantity of milk after the tea is poured

I put it in first as I find that if it goes in last, sometimes there is scum on the surface ( we live in a hard-water area ) but the other half puts it in last...

I live in a hard-water area too, but only get scum on the tea if I'm not taking sugar.

Apparently putting the milk in first reduces the amount of tannins released!
