Google search for items listed on ebid

Hi,
I have just received my first news letter from ebid since recently joining having abandoned ebay because of their ridiculous P&P rule changes. At the top of the newsletter is a quote frrom a seller in the USA whos says ....

"But tonight took the cake I am estatic to Find my listings on google right at the top ".

I have just done a Google search for any one of the items that I have currently listed on ebid. However no results on Google were found!!! Have I missed something? Should I have ticked a box somewhere for that to happen for me? Or does it just happen for USA sellers? Does anyone know?

A quick look at your listings does not show any with a BuyNow price - only a bid price.

To be eligible for upload to Google you must have a BuyNow price.

Your listings must have the 'Buynow' option available to be shown on Google searches.

Also, please note if you copy your tittle, Word for Word in the exact same order.
It would be unusual for your item not to apear near the top.

Most searchers/buyers would use specific key words to find what they are looking for.

In this case your item may not be so visible.

I have added a buy a it now price to all my auctions as you suggested but still they are not showing any results on a google search. Any more suggestions?

How soon after changing did you look? It's not instantaneous. Hmmm... do we know what the current update schedule is? Anybody?

They are only uploaded i believe 5 times a month so it may take a few days.

You will need to give them time to get into the next upload

I checked them 12 hours after making the changes. I even tried an exact wording advanced search on google but still nowt!

I'm not sure if that schedule (which I have on my FAQ at the moment) is still accurate.
