Default where do you think I should put workshop manuals?

I've just opened up a new store called THE SCRAPYARD. I don't know if I'll have much to put in it, but I keep finding bits and bobs that came off my cars or bikes over the years.

I also still have my book shop - PAPERBOYS PLEASURE.

Now the question is this. Should workshop manuals go in the Scrapyard, as car parts, or in Paperboys Pleasure because they are literature?

For those who aren't fussy about filtering what I sell - Take a look at ALL my stuff above. - But for more specific listings, take a peek in the stores below.

THE PAPERBOYS PLEASURE - For Books & Magazines

    OUT ON THE FLOOR - For Records - (mainly 1950's - 60's)

    VIEWPOINT - Photographic Equipment

THE SCRAPYARD - Spare parts for old cars and bikes

I don't think it makes much difference which store you put them in but the logical lisiting category is books>non-fiction>automotive.

Good luck with the listings, I have a few and they are rather slow.

Please take a look at my up-dated store.
I still have plenty more to list when I get round to it.

There must be someone out there with a classic Triumph
or know of someone that has!

    Cheers.

I moved mine to cars and trucks>accessories>manuals. Hope that will move them quicker.

Don't know if I didn't look close enough to cats or if they were different when I was listing them.

I've moved my manuals into the ScrapYard.

I haven't found any more bits yet. I was sure I had some more little bits of my old BSA cluttering about.

I found a couple of old Union Keys - So will list them later.

Yes,the scrap yard would be the logical place, some of those old books make an interesting read.
I miss the old fashioned scrap yards where you could clamber all over piles of old cars pulling off all sorts of oily bits and pieces.
I suppose H & S and the eco warriors would have sixty fits but I used to spend many a happy hour grovelling about in the oil and mud.

Ditto. I have many happy memories as a child going to the scrap yard with my dad, and playing in the cars while dad pulled apart the bits he needed. H&S in the 1970's ? I don't think such a word existed did it?

Then even more memories going to old overgrown yards to find bits and bobs for my own cars. Happy days indeed.

Those places used to be a kids playground when my Dad went for bits back in the 1950's happy memories.

Norfolk (where I used to live) was famous for the 'General Dealer'.Huge yards full of everything from double decker buses to portable army loos, old cars, lorries and bikes.
I once bought an old Mk7 Jag for £20 from such a yard near Norwich because I wanted the hub caps, couple of hours to get it running and pump the tyres up and I drove it home. There were a few legal technicalities with tax disc and MOT that I didn't observe but no one seemed to bother that much in those days.
