David Bowie (from 1969 onwards), Queen from the mid 70's and Pink Floyd from the late 70's.

I still listen to all those artists regularly and purposely listen to my local radio station that plays all that stuff too

Yes I quite like Queen, favourite song of theirs is possibly "We will rock you" in a close 2nd would be "I'm in love with my car"

Off the top of my head: Simon and Garfunkel: Gene Pitney: Scott Walker: the Beatles: the Beachboys: Jethro Tull; Steeleye Span: Pentangle: Fairport Convention: Incredible String Band: Bob Dylan: Arlo Guthrie; Donovan ; David Bowie; Ralph McTell, Roger Hubbard; Allan Taylor; Tom Paxton; Pete Seeger; .... I'm sure there are more I could think of but it was a long time ago as you have pointed out!!

Still play their "records" and would happily go and see any in concert today, given the opportunity - except perhaps for David Bowie who for me lost his way in the 70's.

I would agree with that.....I had a copy of every one of his singles and albums from 1960 til about the mid 70's when he started wearing suits and singing songs that weren't totally mad
