Address Validated
Anyone know what this means, normally when I go to P.O. and send anything in UK either by recorded or special on the receipt it say's:
Address Validated: Y
however today I went to P.O. sent something special delivery and on receipt I got this:
Address Validated: N
Now I know that Y = Yes and N = No, but what I want to know is what is address validated?

I would expect it would mean the postcode is correct for the address according to the Royal Mail 'Postcode Address File' which contains all postal addresses in the UK, Channel Isles and Isle of Man.
