Where's my dinner?

Has anyone seen my christmas dinner? I've been able to smell it for hours now, but still havn't seen it, I'm starving.

Ours went in the bin.

Bought a great Turkey, cooked it to perfection.
Did all the trimmings.
Then sat down to eat.

There was no breast, just bone.

Checked to make sure it was the proper way up, and it was.

I think this poor turkey was in a car crash.

So tasted a bit and it was as tough as leather.

So had a great vegetarian Christmas..

Had a leg of lamb instead of turkey, I think turkey is over rated, I prefer chicken really. Turkey too dry. No doubt I'll have some turkey at the parents and the in-laws tomorrow, when I have christmas dinner no.2 and 3

Well, we never have turkey, but as we have a friend from France with us at the moment, I wanted to make an effort and do the full dinner and our turkey was lovely. Then we watched the queen and my friend fell asleep on the sofa. Perfect traditional Christmas, I think... Today I will do a curry with the left over turkey after we go and do a bit of running around the sales...
