If they disagree with the war that's fine. A lot of people do.
But to insult the whole British Nation and to belittle the sacrifices our Armed forces have made by threatning to use Wooton Bassett as a forum is beyond cynical!
Not to mention dangerous for the protesters!

This is the sort of thing that is guaranteed to worsen relations between the Muslims and the non-Muslims, yet they are allowed to get away with it. However, should a Christian group dare to think they could have a pro-war rally through a predominantly Muslim area, I have little doubt that the Muslims would be rioting in the streets with support for them in other countries around the world.

    Music.
Plato says when the music of a society changes, the whole society will
    change.
Aristotle, a contemporary of Plato's, says when music changes there should be laws to govern the nature and the character of that music.
Lenin says that the best and the quickest way to undermine any society is through its music!

It seems those who seek to foment ill-feeling between people have scored another hit. Now they can carry on screwing us left, right and center because we're too busy fighting among ourselves to turn our attention to them. It's all too easy for them.

I think it will be more dangerous to allow it to happen. It could be a very bloody battle if this march goes ahead.

I think we see things the same way.

Aren't we giving these people just what they want? Recognition~ which they are not worthy of.

The march should certainly be stopped. But by other Muslims in this country~ to show that they really are not all the same.

If I had commented in my own words and been a much better writer than I am I would have replied much like this article on the proposed march

I agree with the OP, as to the march I doubt it will get sanctioned by the police. And the people intending organising it know that all to well ...just more headline grabbing crap-stirring.

I read on another site that after 9/11 the same group organised events to celebrate the achievements of the 19.
