Won item, no response from seller, seller's name has a line through it now?

I won an item, and now i get no response to my questions, no link for paypal, and the seller's name has a line through it, is the seller unregistered from ebid?? What happened? Is this fraud?

It may be temporary or could be for a good reason

I had a prospective buyer place a bid on one of my items a few days ago.
This morning the auction had finished so I expected an email saying that the item had sold.

Looked in "items sold" and nothing. It was in "unsold "

My question is...can they cancel their bid with less than twelve hours to go?

Hockey11, based on my experience it's certainly fraud, - DON'T SEND ANY MONEY UNTIL YOU KNOW FOR SURE. I've recently had a situation exactly like this with a guy in the US, but I had already sent the money when I found a line through his user name. I checked with ebid and they told me he was being investigated. I emailed ebid asking why they couldn't notify bidders the instant this happened - I'm still waiting for a reply. The same guy scammed a number of other people out of thousands of dollars and his feedback is currently MINUS 16!!!
