Question Time to update eBid with our priorities again!

I'm not sure how much notice they took last time, but at least the thread gave us something to point at when we moaned.

Think about what changes and improvements you'd like to see on ebid, and pile in here with them. For example: printable invoices and shop logos back on listing pages are a couple I think I've seen.

Post your favourites, comment on others' suggestions, and after a few days I'll draw up a poll with the ideas put forward (poll limits allowing) and we can have a vote one which ones we think are important.

Last time I did this I took a lot of stick for not including XYZ or whatever somebody's favourite was... but if it ain't suggested I can't include it - so make sure you get your pet wish in here now!

I'll let this run for a few days, until I feel we've got a broad enough response, or it runs out of steam, then do the poll.

Ok. Cleaning out the mass dumping of items in the wrong categorys.Makes it imposible to search for things sometimes.

Agreed. Regular checks to ensure that listings are in the right place are needed. Maybe regulars could volunteer and be "appointed" to check categories on a regular basis and report back to support - eg I'd be happy to do this to ensure the patchwork sub-categories were tidied up and each could take an area of interest to them?

To this end can we resurrect the idea of a "report seller" option so that we can just say all the listings in this category by buyer "soandso" are in the wrong place instead of reporting all the listings one by one?

Also an email should be sent to say which of a seller's listings have been removed and why. It is easy to make a mistake when using list similar ( Luckily I noticed several on my listings the other day and would have been happy to have received a polite email saying please could you move these to the correct category rather than have them vanish without trace!)

So that's 3 please - regular checks of categories - report seller button - and email explaining removals of listings.

1 I would like to see a sales through report by categories.
So that we could see how sales were going in the categories that interest us.
2 I would also like to see categories that do not have many listings removed or at least mentioned in a list so that people could top them up or so that they could be removed.
3 I would like to see a recent sales list. So that we could see what sold and for how much.

I would like to see absent sellers listings removed.

Or at least a time limit, so that they have to come back and re-list it.

A list of those categories that need more sellers~ it might attract more too.

A percentage of what has sold each month.

    Off to think some more.

Off the top of my head,

Mark as refunded option on AAL
Send payment reminder option on invoice
    Specify/change PayPal account on invoice
    Printable invoice/packing slip
    Report this seller option
Questions AND answers to remain visible in Q&A section of My eBid until expired or manually removed by member
Ability to just browse a category when using advanced search without having to put in a search term
    Store specific notices
Warning when posting a listing with a duplicate title

Now I'll go away and think about it for a while.

When you re-list an item, it disappears from your unsold list. (please!)

It already does if you click on both the relist and delete buttons.
