Just for a bit of fun this, okay and to be nosey and maybe to pick up some ideas.

What are your top 5 favourite computer programs that you use regularly ?, and what do they do ?

Mine are as follows...

Google Earth - mainly for checking out an area before I walk there. It pays to plan ahead.

Spotify - for thousands of free music tracks.

PhotoShop - To tidy up photos or to play about with them.

Advanced Windows Care v2 - To sort out any problems with my laptop and to keep it running smoothly.

Open Office - for word processing and whatever.

Google - must use this every day to look up something or other.
Ebid also daily
Yahoo answers, addicted to answering questions!
Mah Jong game - use at least once a week

Textpad - those two get all my banners and templates made.
Snipping tool - for all those handy screen dumps
Excel - major number crunching
Gosh... only one more, um...
Spider Solitaire

Paint.net - Poor person's photo editor (it's free!)
OpenOffice - (Also free) Alternative to MSOffice and better in some ways
Thunderbird - From Mozilla - another non Microsoft alternative for mail
Realplayer - Listen to radio programmes, play & download videos etc
Skype - Keep in touch with the family - phonecall quality improving

Serif PhotoPlus X2 for image editing (I do have a host of others, but I rarely touch them)
Serif DrawPlus X2 for Vectored Graphics, & Text.
FontLoader, to quickly load/install or unload/uninstall fonts or folders of fonts (free)
Notepad ++ for writing HTML/XHTML (free - open source)
CSE HTML Validator Lite (to pick up any mistakes) (free)

For general use
Open Office (free, open source office suite)
PAF 5 (Personal Ancestry 5, genealogy software, free from the LDS)
Thunderbird (free open source email client)
WS_FTP Pro 7.62 (FTP software, free on a cover disk)
Auslogics Disk Defrag (free disk defragger & optimiser)
