Wow! - I just bought a couple of records from a new member of Ebid - Soxamo -

Both records are as described in excellent condition, but that is not why I'm writing. I noticed another record he was selling on another site and said that if it didn't sell during the course of the auction over there, I would be intrested in buying it if it was listed here on Ebid. Well, he got back to me to say that another copy had come in and that he would list it for me - EXCELLENT.

But then the bad news. "Sorry, I can't sell that one, I just noticed it's got a hairline crack" OK, no problem I'll keep on looking for it.

So today, my records arrived, along with a free gift. The cracked record! - It will probably play fine, but of course I'll have to be careful with it - Even so, it's great to have it as a filler until I can find a better condition copy of it.

Top marks Blue Bedouin, and as you can see, that was the one I was checking out too. even though the one I have is cracked, it plays just like this. no clicks, and only a little surface noise.

Now here's a little teaser, for all those who collect CDs. IF you managed to crack a CD. would it still play this well?
