Which is why I'm asking cause if they are planning on doing it, it would definitely cause problems

Why on earth would eBid give each user their own email account at eBid?

Have you been sucking on someone else's happy pills, Craig?

OK, let's try that again and perhaps this time you could try to answer the question.

I don't [think] I have any need for it myself yet, but why not?

It could look more professional for customers to see a complete 'corporate identity' for want of a better phrase, everytime they deal with an ebid seller.

At the moment I am happy to stick with the current email address I use for ebid, but...

How about because we are not employed by eBid, nor part of their business. We are individuals who merely use eBid as a venue to sell from. Think of it this way, if you rent a unit in a shopping center, does that give you the right to advertise yourself as part of the company who owns the building? Of course it doesn't.

Sorry Damian, I was answering the 2nd part.

Well if they did it would be an ideal way of getting customers to contact you from outside eBid direct, however as said, if eBid did that then the option of a private eBid email address could also bring in alot of spam emails which could clog up the system. Which is why I was asking if they are going to do it so that I could object.
