Thread: Promoting Ebid

    Smile Promoting Ebid

    Hi All.
How about someone making loads of book marks with the Ebid logo on. We could then place one in each order we sell, also encouring those naughty people who turn their corners down to use the bookmark instead. I would,nt know where to start to make them, but I'm sure one of you brilliant people do. I sellover 200 permonth on other sites, and it would be so easy just to include this in my package. It could be a nice little earner for someone. I would definately buy

What a good idea - great one for book sellers

I would certainly buy if the price was right and competetive with paying for business cards

Question ebid now on forums in Feebay!

I only joined you yesterday, but major row at FeeBay, as you may know, regarding post charge cap for clothes/shoes, with FeeBay suggesting additional costs be added to item price...Greedy eh? 10% of even more!

So I have suggested in 3 discussion boards that everyone comes and looks at eBid as an alternative. They will probably have my guts for garters! Sellers are saying that there are no buyers here...(I did buy something today, so please don't shoot me down in flames!)

If a major 'fed up' Feebay seller could add eBid info to every parcel...?
If you could auction a few eBid T-shirts on Feebay?

As someone who is predominantly a buyer, whilst Feebay fees are massive, if I don't sell I don't pay. I think, having looked at all your seller deals, they are pehaps more structured to people selling larger quantities. Am I right or have I missed something?

However, I thought you paid a listing fee Over there....whether you sell or not. Or is that a new change??

    Thanks Irene! Tag line....Baaaagains 4 Ewe & Me!....groan!

HerMajesty...provided your eBid T-shirt start price is 99p, max postage capped at £4, there are no fees unless you sell.

If some of you experienced eBidders create a rota and join Feebay, if you're not members already, you could create mayhem promoting eBid in their discussion boards....until they chuck you out!

er... I'm not sure creating mayhem is a great way to promote a professional site. "Don't try this at home, folks".

Without creating mayhem, I have added a link to ebid to every item dispatched email over there for YEARS now.
