Thread: Ie8

  1. #1

    Question Ie8

Before I upgrade my browser from IE7 to IE8, are there any glitches I should be aware of when listing a new listing? I want to know before hand as last time I had MAJOR trouble. Thanks in advance.

I switched back to IE7 because of all the problems with IE8. Then I started using FireFox for everything. Much better.

True. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. The guy from HP support in India (online chat) suggested that I upgrade my operating windows to Windows 7 from VISTA 64 bit. I said I can't afford it since I lost my regular job after 16 years (thanks to outsourcing to India....lol j/k. I didn't say that, but I felt like it haha). Oh well, thanks again everyone.

IE8 works fine with eBid, even better than IE7.

I was an avid FF user until recently when it updated to v3.6. I found the new version sluggish and taking up way too much memory. I'm now a Google Chrome convert and recommend it to everyone.

I totally agree. I mainly use Google Chrome but need to keep IE and FF for checking my html layouts.
