I stopped watching it when he took over. Patrick Troughton was the best Doctor.
Hopefully with him gone the homosexual undercurrents will go with him.

Yes. I hated Torchwood. Couldn't watch it. Totally ruined what could have been a very good program.
I thought the homosexual aspects were excellent, true to real life and normal - i don't particularly like Torchwood, just John Barrowman
I watched the first few, and the last few but skipped the rest. Waaaay too much shagging and not enough aliens. And they were supposed to be the experts,and working in secret, and still thought "run in with a big gun and scream" was the best way to deal with every situation. Nonsense. The last 2 or 3 parter with the kids being nicked was okay - possibly by then RTD had put everybody in bed with everybody else and got it out of his system.
i really loved it, it is different but i think that is a good thing, its like a whole new doctor who, theme tune completely diferent but not too bad.
still has its funny bits.
hope he'll stay round for a while...
