Default Moved over from The Dark Side - at last

Yep - I'm in the position to be able to wait for sales, the Dark Side is pretty good but it agreaves me to pay them all that lolly with so few benefits.

Thanks for the recent improvements in the site, especially the Google Shopping deal, any chance of sorting out that cross seller scroller :-)

Let's all hope that many others see the light soon.

The new site does look great doesn't it? No wonder feebay introduced a new website on Monday for designer clothes only. Heard it looks similiar to ebid!!

I checked out your items, just beautiful items. The jewelry is gorgeous. Remember you don't have to "wait" for sales. If you follow the forum tips, you should have your first sale in 2-3 weeks. Selling techniques are different on ebid, but if you just change a few things, the sales come. I would suggest that you. drop the run until sold, put items at auction, 7-10 days, buy it now and put it in your store. Ten automatic relists too. That way google gets listings, and ebid people see them too.

Many of us are experiencing many many more sales than we had even six months ago. UK sales are up 95% and US sales are up 198% in March, so the site is finally getting the traffic and the recognition that it deserves.

    Welcome!
What happened to all your listings!? Just editing off line I hope ;-)

If I may make one small comment on your about me page, you mention Feebay (by real name! augh puke) 5 times! and EBID only 3!!!........

The great thing about EBID is you can upload all your stock without worrying about "Unsold Item Fees".
We have had days selling more on Ebid than our feebay store.

    have fun!

    Welcome aboard.

I just use feebay now to clear out any tat. Anything a little bit better goes up for sale on here now.

Good luck and some great photos by the way.

Same here (except I don't really have any tat ). It's a strategy that works well! I had my best few days ever on eBid at the beginning of the Easter holidays. I took a big load of parcels to the P.O. yesterday, only one of which was sold on feebay. My AAL is up on 195 items sold at the moment so I'm happy!

Thanks for the suggestion, ref running in the auction mode rather than RUS. I will have to look at that, I have been used to Make an Offer from The Dark Side.

BTW, how do you get your logo image in the signature - I have one loaded in the signature setting but it doesn't show up.

On a lot of these features you have to make sure you click the right save button or it won't work. Editing your store info is like that. Each separate section has its own save.

Make an offer has been debated here a few times. For some it worked great elsewhere, others don't like idea at all. I never used it but have negotiated a lower price here if someone wanted something and thought price was too high. Same thing I imagine.

Good luck on ebid. If you need help, just ask.
