It seems that the first Playstion 3 consoles were capable of playing PS2 games and had slots for memory, But sony decided to remove this option on later and present models !!
only one that will is a 1st generation/60gb model, apparently the feature was removed to encourage people to buy ps3 games.

I still prefere the the PS3 IMO.
Think I will go with the ps3, seems to be an awfully lot of x boxes on sale for spares and repairs, not a good sign
