I had a french guy throw a right strop a couple of weeks ago. He requested an invoice for the items he had purchased, which we did. He then emailed back saying he wanted the price in Euro's, I explained we didn't accept euro's only GB Pounds as in the listing.
He then came back with a barrage of abuse and the fundamental message was "you have to accept euro's you are in the EEC".
I emailed back clarifying that although we are in the EEC we as a country did not relinquish our GB Pound and we are not obliged to accept the euro as currency.
He didn't like this and got into more of a huff with more abuse so I cancelled the order and blacklisted him.

    Why is everyone in debt!

Who do they owe the money to?

If the whole world is in crisis ......

    Some one's telling porkies!
Everyone is in debt because our money is issued by the (privately owned) central banks AS A DEBT. Every note issued is issued AS A DEBT. When a government requests additional currency from the bank, that government immediately owes that amount PLUS INTEREST. (In other words, WE THE PEOPLE owe that amount WITH INTEREST). The French customer must be living in some kind of time warp. The EEC ceased to exist in 1993 when it was superceded by the European Union as established by the Maastricht Treaty. He mist be living around 20 years behind the rest of us.

I think he was wearing one... over his head

I wasn't even going down the route of explaining about the EEC or EU as it would probably have gone over his head anyway.
