Does any of you technical minded people know if you can put a page counter on your store front page? just think it would be interesting to see how many page views my shop is getting?

No way that I am aware of. There is nowhere to place the code that would be required.

The only place you could do such a thing is on you 'All About Me' page - which would not be a lot of use.
