I thought, like Astral, that you would just be able to add the countries via bulk edit and merrily went ahead without checking and lost all my overseas postage prices ! Am now having to slowly edit them back in on well over a thousand items !

There needs to be an easy way to add new countries please Gazza for those of us with loads of listings.
I almost did the same but decided to do a test with just one group of four listings... Yes they all went to Zero postage Grrrr

I agree, there should be a way to add countries to Europe or Non-Europe without changing the postage (or the equivalent if you're in America or whatever).

I thought I read one time that if you email the admins they will fix it for you in all your listings with no problem? Or am I thinking about something else?

Of course you exported your listings before you started as a backup - just in case.

    What? You didn't?

e.g. replace all occurrences of dk,es,fr with dk,es,at,be,fr

Then close your listings on eBid and upload the modified file.

Exactly my sentiments I thought it was supposed to save work... not create more work

Bulk Edit is a fairly powerful tool and needs to be used with respect of that power and its limitations. In the absence of a rollback facility (I don't know if one is ever planned) you need to take your own measures to protect your data in case of things going awry.

I would say it is always worth taking a snapshot of your data, via the export facility, before doing any Bulk Edit - however minor.

Yes, I am a great person to have around the day after a disaster.

I was just a bit more cautious and only bulk edited one shop. And then I cheated and used the 'not known' I really don't fancy taking everything downstairs and weigh it and.....
I saw in somebodies auctions that they put the weight at the end of the discription. I thought it odd, but now think it's a great idea
