what really sticks in my throat... I ran for my service, combined services and country (for the armed forces).. I also ran with burgen's on my back in boots, then once out of the military I worked for the police wearing full body armour and boots and patrolled streets on my own for 10 hours a day.. Now i have a slipped disc with severe annula tear that won't ever be fixed and I will be in chronic pain for the rest of my born days...

I am 37 years old...! What do I get a week? the very same benefit that the new government is attempting/will axe...! That leaves me thinking I should have lined my own pockets rather than serve Queen and Country...

Thats just my take on it! Yeah I understand that a footballers career is limited time wize and that this is reflected in their wage... erm blow me if we don't pay a soldier a minimal wage to put his feet on a mine and get blown across foriegn territory in his 21st year... so what penalty should have been paid for his life? He was protecting people, footballers protect whom? er their own pockets thats who!
