Default Why is Sellers name struck through?

I made a purchase and received defective merchandise. When I return to eBid to figure out how to pursue a refund, I find that the Sellers name is shown but struck through with a line. What's the meaning of this?

A strikethrough means that they are suspended.
Sometimes, a suspension is only temporary....but in your sellers case, I think it will be permanent re: 6 negative feedbacks for selling fake items.

depends how you paid for it.... if it's p/pal ect you will have to place a claim with them if it was credit card you will have to go to them and if all else fails you will have to go to court

Default I guess the same goes for buyers.

I sold an item and the buyer's name has a line through it. I didn't think much about it and even sent an invoice. I haven't shipped the item yet and won't do so until I receive payment. Can I cancel the sale and relist the item?

As has been mentioned - the strike through may be temporary while they are being verified. Give it a bit of time. They may pay you yet

In most circumstances the strike through means the persons account has been blocked. Which will not allow them to bid or buy

Default Before they had a strike through

I have emailed one 8 times with no answer, found their ebay account (ebay is all over their items pages) emailed that and had a reply straight away, not going to buy, even though it looks like the only place I will be able to get the item, don't get me wrong, I am not against buying from ebay, but the seller has really annoyed me as it is ebid that I wanted to buy through and it is ebid that I found them on. The account has a strike through now. so it looks like I won't be buying the item at all. Will see what happens.
