Yes, cousrse they do. As unless you have the 60GB version of the PS3, you cant play PS2 games on the PS3.

Also, theres quite a collectable market for more than a few niche ps2 games, fetching some good prices

We don't have time to play our PS2 so have got the console and a few games (more to be listed!) on auction ending this Friday in my Allsorts Store. We hardly played it..shame

I cannot imagine anyone still using PS2s since the PS3 is SO awesome but i have the 60Gig and I play a few PS2 games like SSX 3, SSX World Tour and Siphon Filter - but with the PS3 most classic PS2 games are DLC anyways so why would someone pass up on a Blu-Ray player, a top of the line console, a Netflix port, multimedia port AND a 320HD?? (talking about the PS3) and the new EYE is sweet :-D
