GAZZA Why do the listings keep sticking?

The closed listings sticking is not just frustrating, it costs sales!

I spend at least an hour EVERY day manually scheduling items to re-list so that I have constant visibility and to ensure that I don't have blocks of similar items all together. I don't do this because I enjoy it; I do it because if I don't, my sales suffer.

Closed listings have now been in limbo for over 7 hours. There may not be anything you can do to prevent it happening but at least having an explanation for WHY it happens would go a little way to easing the frustration.

It's a problem with the whole site so everyone's listings are sticking.

I've never noticed a problem, in fact I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean that ended listings don't show in the AAL immediately?

they are not relisting as they should..they close..then..stick...eventually they will relist..

I thought it only updated twice a day.

Ended listings did not show in the AAL or repost from 00:09:22 until 10:05:37 when they all went back on in a 15 minute period rather than being spaced out over the preceding 10 hours.

This means not only that my visibility is limited for those 10 hours, it also means that (because I have so many items) everyone else who lists in the categories I do will have no visibility at all when the site freezes and dumps several hours (pages) of my items in bulk.

I noticed this too and was going to ask why. Only my bid auctions are sticking not the fixed price ones; they autopost fine. I have to manually repost the bid auctions.

Don't do that - if you've set them to auto-repost they will do just that when they unstick and you'll have duplicates. If the script picks up on the duplicates it'll delete both the duplicate AND the original.
