Thumbs down just like to thaxs

A soldier who lost a leg in Afghanistan had his disability benefit taken away despite only being able to walk a few hundred metres with the help of a prosthetic limb.

26-year-old Private Aron Shelton, from Bridlington, East Yorkshire, had his left leg amputated in December 2008 after he was injured in an explosion in Helmand province a year earlier.

But his reward for learning to walk again was to lose his £180-a-month Disability Living Allowance which paid for a specially-adapted car.

wen u say walk............ its 400mts unaided
n is likly to lose is tuva leg too

Our President Obama has suggested that military men BUY their own medical insurance to cover war injuries! The idea was quickly shot down, but how could someone even THINK of such an idea?

All politicians want people to fight the wars they start, but they would rather they did the decent thing and disappear afterwards (those that survive).

I thought you got severe disability for the loss of a limb. It's disgusting anyway government should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
