Thread: Anybody else not recieving communications from eBid today?

    (Do please forgive if I have not translated correctly - I gave up French after miserably failing my GCE exam way back in 1964 !)


    I really don't know what is happening - no notification of a new item listed, and most importantly ... no email to tell me that I had two separate bids on my items.

    Sellers that rely on emails to inform them about activity on their auctions will be blissfully unaware if they have bids, unless they check into their account via eBid. .
    I personally check in every day, but for some this is not always possible.
    Some sellers may not feel that this is necessary, and if they don't receive vital emails regarding activity on their sales through email, will not know if they have bids, sales or not.

    No, it's happening to me too. On Hotmail through AT&T. No email for the closed listings, no emails for the reposted ones.

    I'm not getting emails either, especially not the one with my invoice. With Virgin media.

    Just listed one and closed another - no emails received. We are not on Virgin - orange fr and hotmail.

    It would be nice to have a glitch free day once in a while on eBid! Is anything being done about this one??

    Now that's bizarre!!

    While sitting here I've just received 18 emails at once from eBid dating between 1st and 3rd August - by no means all the missing ones but it is some of them....... maybe someone somewhere is un -gumming something!!

    Last night and also this morning I received a whole load of eBid emails at once, mainly reposted notices. I guess something may be wrong with their server.
