I'm with you dardonboi-we have to keep this going.
I don't know about this site but I know on another site when you try to resolve issues it's just considered "noise". I had so hoped it would be different here. I had heard that the administration, here, really does listen and that they do fix things.
This is a real problem-not just a whim. And, you are right, there are many complaints of sellers not responding and goods not being sent. How can this be a good thing for the site?
This is a smaller site and we have to try harder to be competitive.
Admin. says they are monitoring this site-it's our job to convince them that this is a genuine need. They can't be changing every little thing base on a whim, I understand that. But, this is not a whim it is a necessity.

I have been looking at more of the stores today and have found several that have not been visited in close to a year. There is little to no feedback on them and the inventory does not seem to change. It needs fixing.

Good job dardonboi. I agree with you. That cannot be helping this site. Most people do not know they can click on that tab & check the seller's status. I didn't know it until I joined this forum. So you know that buyers who happen upon ebid through a google search or other means, has no idea. Buyers see something they like & ask about it & expect an answer from the seller! When a bad seller does not respond, it makes us all look bad. This really does need to be fixed by admin.

I do feel we need to keep this at the forefront of the forums and I have to have help. Every one of those stores the are inactive hurts all of us. The store I have a question now for 24 hours still has not responded. They emphasize that questions are to be answered in 24 hours. Perhaps if we find these stores that do not appear to be active, sending them a question to see if there is a response it might get some notice and demonstrate that these are not who we want here.
