This has already been discussed on previous threads.
I think that £49.00 or even £99.00 for life-time membership is the best bargain any seller could ask for.
Why not just enjoy your selling experience, here on eBid, knowing full well how much it would have cost you on other sites to list and sell all your items.

Totally agree - that and the fact that you get FIVE free stores and pics too! All for an extremely modest FVF!

BTW: Love the name TROPICAL TRISH. Brilliant!

Cool Country search would pick up sales !!

I think once buyers can search for an item in their own country i think sales would pick up! I was looking for dog flea treatment from Australia and it took me forever to find but i had mad my first Buy on ebid, and it was a very pleasant one at that ! and seeings it is a lifetime membership just keep adding your items Up for sale, its not costing anything.

Dont forget to have a look at my items, i would love a sale too, Cheers From Australia Patat22

Of course. Everything is always dearer in Britain. Just compare our petrol prices.

Until eBid deem your country to have sufficient items listed to warrant the 'Country' filter on searches you can fudge it. See post: http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...=1#post1228844

When the con trick of decimal coinage was introduced, petrol was 33p a gallon, you could get three gallons for a quid.
It now costs over £5 a gallon and because of the dual con of adopting litres and decimal coinage we've hardly even noticed! Mind you I can remember when a bag of chips cost under 3p ( a tanner if you remember the good old days) now they are over £1 20p and taste more like cardboard.
My old grandad used to tell me about beer costing tuppence a pint and I thought he'd gone gaga, looks like he hadn't but maybe I will.

Yes I can remember when my dads weekly wage was £8

When I was 15, my work mates laughed at me because I said one day people would earn £1,000 a year. They said wages would never get that high.

I wonder what everyone will earn in 40/50 years time

I remember when a gobstopper would fill my gob. Wouldn't stand a chance now.
