I've been getting in a muddle. (So, what's new). Could someone please explain:-

When I want to thank buyer for purchase and advise on shipping, do I go into AAL or Q&A?

Use the AAL to mark as shipped, there you can enter a message saying that you have posted the item and nothing wrong with thanking them for payment.

I generally thank them for payment in feedback. Words like

Welcome to ebid.net, thank you for a speedy payment, a real pleasure to trade with.

thank you for fast payment a pleasure to trade with

Yes, it goes without saying that I thank them via feedback, but I usually tell buyers WHEN I plan on shipping

Don't forget you also have their email address, so you can use any standard emails you have developed for things like thanking them for payment.

As soon as they have paid, I always say something like "thanks for payment, your item has now been packed and will be posted this afternoon (or tomorrow). Any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know".

As Kimbo says, it may be done via email, but I wish to know the eBid way of doing things
Also, does the buyer see all the AAL entries made by the seller?
