Thread: Why Newbies Should be Monitered for Their Own Safety

  1. #1

Red face Why Newbies Should be Monitered for Their Own Safety

I have been here long enough now to have a lot of auctions run their course. To my disgust most of them have nothing except product description. I can't believe I did this. I had wondered why some of it didn't sell and now I am know.

I think they turned me loose with a listing form before I was ready for it. You know a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. LOL

Going to have some wonderful buys now if anyone finds them.

Ha!! Live and learn, huh?? Lots of us have been known to do, er, silly things. Glad you saw it, tho......pays to double check the auctions sometimes...........I had some listed for 3 days not 10, and was surprised when it ended so quickly!

LOL yeah, I've had to edit most of my first 30 or so auctions about 3 times, trying to correct all the "errors" I made first time round!

Glad to know I am not the only one. I could not believe that I had let those run for so long and not noticed. I did go in and check several of them evidently just not the right ones.

That's one of the things that I find about myself ... don't know if it's because of my .. ahem ... age, but I find that I'll think that something I typed is correct (even double check it) and still find errors later on. As for the auctions, I keep changing and adding as I go. Right now some of my first auctions are through the 10 post cycle and I'm relisting and editing one by one.

I've been adding store links to my auctions and click here to join. As of yet, I haven't added repartoo and Here to sell, buttons. I'll have to spend some time to sort that out.

So, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. lol
