September 3rd Virgin1 will be getting a name change to Channel 1

I think Virgin TV is now owned by Sky a they wont allow the Virgin name on the TV channels listing.

Sky haven't taken them over,
Virgin Media have sold Virgin Media Television which means the channels
Virgin1, Living, Living HD, Livingit, Bravo, Bravo2, Challenge and Challenge Jackpot to Sky.

well virgin media is crap i left them due to non existent customer service after they charged me for broadband for 3 months when they hadnt even been around to install it yet

I've been wondering why I've now started to receive SKY Sports HD and other sky channels. I never used to have them, I also noticed recently that I used to get Fiver & Five USA, now I've noticed that I am now getting Fiver+1 and Five USA+1 which were only available to SKY customers. If virgin are going to sell the TV channels over to SKY does that mean I can get a discount on my TV package?
