    Question Celery!

CELERY! I don't get it. How can anyone tolerate that taste? It's like something you pick in the countryside, and discover that it tastes poisonous. How can you like that horrible taste?

Celery's great! It actually has negative calories because it takes more energy to chew it than it gives back - how cool is that?!

Fill the recess with peanut butter or maybe cheese to improve the flavor!

I love celery. But then I love all sorts of things that "you pick in the countryside" and don't find they all taste poisonous!

Why do anything to improve the flavour? Just eat something that tastes nice in the first place!

So do I, but the faintest taste of celery makes all my senses scream 'if you swallow this, you might suffer a painful death'!

What a waste of a useful sense - be so much more useful if it did that with something that was bad for you! Or at least fattening! *grin*

Sudden thought: how do you feel about celeriac? That has a faint taste of celery, but isn't celery.

I try the taste of most things which grow in my garden.

Last month I spent an hour eating Marigold petals etc - nice!

I just have to try these things!

    Nasturtiums are even better.
