Red face If US friends eat turkey today - what do they eat on Christmas Day? also ....

I am just wondering what our US friends eat on Christmas Day when Turkey is enjoyed for Thanksgiving?
Also, pardon me for asking and please don't think I am being cheeky, but has anyone got a small piece of turkey and a small yam to spare? It's cold over here and old ladies like me don't need much sustenance to keep us warm! cheaver

Cheaver - we like turkeys...................the country is full of them - tame and wild, so we eat them at Thanksgiving AND Christmas...........and and and.............well, the people who aren't vegetarians do....................AND it is cold here in the UK..........but it's colder in the states right now, I think........blizzards and snow storms in a lot of areas.
    Ta-Ta for now!

I didn't expect a Welsh reply! but thank you. I passed through your beautiful area on Sunday on way back from delightful weekend in Swansea. Must be cold chez vous as well!
ps Where's that slice of turkey and little yam? I'm hungry.

COLD?? I've been posting to my OP "Weather Update..Pacific Northwest" and baby it's STILL freezin' cold here! It's 2:46 pm and right now the temp is reading a whopping 23 degrees..........yikes! Last night wasn't as brutal as the night before (Tues. night it got down to 13 BELOW zero), last night it only dipped to 6 above zero...felt like a heat wave!

Snow is in the forecast for tonight and quite frankly I'll welcome it...seems when it snows it just doesn't 'feel' that cold....it's when we get those crystal clear nights that are a killer.............I'll be updating my OP tomorrow...........winter..........hate it...........hate snow ............hate the cold .........would someone PLEASE move me to warmer climates???
